same here... 20mins walk. also slope up to school. luckily not the typical dangerous zones, but how safe can it actually be when you're in the UK? (i'm in Newcastle)
oh, and ground flr, really have to keep windows locked! curtains too, and valuables out of sight. but the view's all green and nice!

Did you try Hilly Fields, Blackheath or Dulwich Area? I know Southwark and Lewisham are not nice Borough.
